About Us

1. Our Mission & Vision

FIKR Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization driven by a clear and purposeful mission: to preserve, translate, and convey authentic Islamic knowledge for English-speaking Muslims in America. In a time where misinformation and confusion are widespread, we strive to reconnect Muslims with the original teachings of Islam—firmly rooted in the Qur’an and the Sunnah—presented with clarity, balance, and scholarly integrity.

Our vision is to cultivate a well-informed Muslim community that understands its faith with depth and confidence while remaining grounded in authentic sources. We aim to bridge the gap between classical Islamic scholarship and the modern world, ensuring that Muslims can navigate contemporary challenges without compromising their religious identity. By presenting Islam in a clear and accessible manner, we seek to revive a deep connection with knowledge that transforms both individuals and communities.

2. What We Do

At the heart of FIKR Foundation’s work is the translation of classical Islamic texts. Many of the most valuable works of Islamic scholarship remain inaccessible to English-speaking audiences due to language barriers. We carefully translate these works into clear American English, preserving their meaning while making them easy to understand for readers of all backgrounds.

In addition to translations, we produce original research that addresses real issues faced by Muslims in the West today. Our research covers areas such as family dynamics, youth challenges, financial matters, and community development. Each piece is written with relevance and clarity, ensuring it speaks directly to the lived experiences of Muslims in America.

Every publication—whether a translation or research article—is reviewed by qualified scholars to maintain accuracy and authenticity. This scholarly oversight ensures that all content remains true to Islamic principles while being presented in a way that is practical and applicable in modern contexts. Through this approach, we provide knowledge that is not only authentic but also meaningful and actionable.

3. Our Commitment to the Community

FIKR Foundation is deeply committed to making Islamic knowledge accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or financial situation. All of our resources—including books, articles, and educational materials—are provided completely free of charge. We believe that knowledge should never be restricted by paywalls or limited access, especially when it comes to understanding one’s faith.

Beyond publications, we actively support students of knowledge by providing them with resources, guidance, and opportunities to grow in their studies. We also aim to answer contemporary questions with clarity and care, helping Muslims navigate modern challenges while staying true to authentic teachings.
